I get XPAntivirus pop ups which let me run a free scan which shows mountains of crap on my system. But when I try to register for the software via internet, I am able to install it, but as soon as I get to the registration page, the spyware, and pop-ups prevent me from obtaining the key to run the stuff. So I bought a package of anti spyware, KASPENSKYS or something like that, but when I install it, my computer says I must restart to register it and run it. But when I restart, it keeps going back to the install page, so I reinstall it, then try to restart to no avail. HELP!

Personally, I don't trust any Antivirus software vendor to remove spyware/malware, Of the 3 products I've worked with in a corporate environment, none have done as good of a job as Spybot, HijackThis, and CCSShredder.
